I'm at the Harbor Beach Marriott frequently, and I usually stop by this Starbucks to get a drink. My last experience here over the weekend has made me think twice about coming back though. There were two employees working - one girl on the register, and the other taking her sweet time emptying the trash cans. No one actually making drinks. So I order my usual iced chai, and go to the side to wait for my drink. The line is pretty long, so I'm expecting a bit of a wait for my drink since trash girl doesn't look like she's going to do it anytime soon. So everyone who was behind me in line gets their drinks from cashier girl, and I'm still standing there, waiting for mine. Cashier girl then sees me and says, "uh, what did you order?" Seriously? I used to work at Starbucks, and I know she should have written the order on a cup. Obviously she forgot and hence forgot my drink altogether. So she threw my drink together quickly since she knew she made a mistake. Trash girl had finished her duties by then and was just chilling behind the counter at this point. I don't expect a whole lot from a coffee shop, but I get irritated when they forget your order completely.

Located inside the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, this is a small indoor Starbucks. The drinks are of great quality, but for the pastries I'd stick to the local bakeries or stand alone Starbucks stores. Not having been a guest of the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, I pulled up to the car loop and parked my car along side a wall, behind another. A hotel employee approached me and let me know that it was okay for me to park there, he would just have to hold onto my key in the event he had to move it for an emergency.. I gave him my key and my car was still there when I returned.

The coffee products are as wonderful as any Starbucks, & the staff are friendly & helpful. The store is located as a "cubby hole" inside the hotel lobby. I came at a busy time, so that little cubby hole became a claustrophobic nightmare. You place orders & pay in the front, but move into the "people trap" to pick up your order. So once you pick up, you are blocked from getting out by the people in line on their way inside. The infrastructure is crazy, but the sugar cookie was good, & so was the caramel ribbon frappuccino.

Small Starbucks inside the Marriott Harbor Beach. The line at 7:30 am on a Friday was out the door (maybe 12 people on line) and only two people at the counter. One of the people working at the register seemed a bit lost, looked up at me like a deer in the headlights when I asked for a tall cappuccino. She kept getting confused on the "tall" part for some reason and kept repeating it. Came back around 10 for a bottle of water and still a pretty decent line was forming. Cappuccino was great though!

They don't accept rewards program. Enough said. It's 2015 Starbucks lets get on top of it now. Oh and the usual prices are doubled

It was close to where we were staying, the people were nice and the lines were short.

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend. I was nicely surprised to see this in their lobby! It was very full all the time but the line moved quickly. Same quality as other Starbucks. I wish it was a little bigger and had tables and chairs too...even if only a couple. Regardless, it was comforting to know that I had a place I love so close as an option without having to leave my hotel.

This location needs a better manager. The morning staff seems annoyed that they have to stop being idle, and actually make a drink. The drink consistency itself is just OK. If you can, visit the 17th St location just over the bridge for a much better Starbucks experience.

It would be nice to see a Starbucks where you can actually hangout in more of a lounge setting. 2 cushion chairs makes it hard to relax. Especially if they are taken and all that is left wooden chairs.
